The purpose of the project EAC (Youth Entrepreneurship Activity and Creativity) is to connect more intensely and more strongly school- and working life. The projects starts from the belief that close co-operation is necessary due to the far more variable and complex demands society has to face towards the immediate future.
The goal of the co-operation is to give children, youngsters and teachers the perception of the European dimension in aspects of attitutudes and knowledge in a close co-operation between school and working-life. The approach of the project will be to develop in-service training of members of staff from child-care level to upper secondary school level. The project considers this to be necessary so that the younger generation can be better prepared up from its youngest age towards its professional future.
The project also aims at creating an umbrella organisation in which schools and regions co-operate together in the field of school-industry co-operation; this kind of co-operation is thought to enhance the co-ordination of activities and the dissemination of good practice. Thus it is also hoped to create a forum for interchange of experiences and information and to give pupils, teachers, other members of staff and parents the perception of the European dimension in relation both to attitudes and knowledge. It is hoped that the project will result in school-industry co-operation being perceived as a natural role and part of the educational system
