Short description:
A project of the municipality of Graz / Office of Economy and tourism development

The institution BAB GmbH informs and advices for free in order of the municipality of Graz - Office of Economy and tourism development - enterprises in the framework of the impulse programme for apprentices (LIP 2001) in all questions in the field education of apprentices.

Following advices are offered by the BAB GmbH:

-General information about the LIP 2001+ (the so called "Lehrlingsimpulsprogramm")

-Legal advice for enterprises for the employment of apprentices

-Information about new vocations and grants

-Support in the search of fitting apprentices (Developing a profile of demands)

The STVG informs pupils and teachers about new vocations and open jobs for apprentices, that have been acquirered by the BAB GmbH.

Goals of the project are to acquire 40 new jobs for apprentices, to contact 350 firms in Graz and to find fitting pupils for the open jobs.

Events: In June 2002 there took place a contact bourse, where entrepreneurs with open jobs for apprentices and pupils who search for jobs as an apprentice have been invited.

This year the contact bourse will be repeated. Certain enterprises and fitting pupils will be invited..
