Short description:
"Development of competences for the world of work" is promoted by universities of Spain, Portugal, United Kingdom and Slovakia. The project intends to equip the pupils with basic competences which will enable them later on to fit in the labour market; it is a question of developing their capacity of communication (comprehension and expression). The project aims at improving the initial and continuous training of the teachers so that the development of these social capacities are included in their teaching program. The initiative, planned for one three years duration, is articulated around the following activities: (1) identification of basic competences for the life of tous.les.jours and the world of employment, (2) the study of the progress achieved, (3) design and the realization of continuous and initial formations for the teachers, (4) development of didactic material usable in class and (5) the evaluation of the impact on the teachers and learning them. As regards the awaited products, it will act D ' studies, of material of formation diffused by the means of Internet and publications in specialized reviews.
