Short description:

The organisation is recruiting long term unemployed young people,either under the national employment service 'new deal option or under the LSC's programme,providing them with the essential work experience to gain a job. the work programme relates to mainly environmental projects and provides minibus collection/take home throughoutSouthern and West hertfordshire to make it easier for them to get to work each day. This is an important aspect of the scheme.
Trainees have to attend on a part time bais a vocational college to study and gian a theoretical knwledge and to imoproove or learn new skills. Driving lessons are included in the package and after six months they are helped to get a job.
Work is provided by public authorities on such programmes as energy and water saving programmes and set security devices to the homes of vunerable people.
