The goal of this project is to develop and support international on-the-job training of 16- to 18-year-old initial vocational students. Training institutions together with employers will try to identify common vocational key qualifications needed at work, on the basis of which new methods for evaluation of on-the-job training practices in Europe will be developed. At the same time, quality of and tutoring in international on-the-job training periods will be improved. The partnership includes nine vocational institutions and eleven organisations representing work life, such as public authorities, companies and trade organisations. The main results of the project will be a handbook of evaluation for on-the-job trainers and an interactive portfolio for students. Products will be available on the Internet. The portfolio will be used as an interactive web-based learning tool. Products will be developed in teams in meetings and with the help of the Internet.. | |
