Short description:
The general aim of this project is to provide the different countries of the European Union with a framework for a single Vocational and Occupational Guidance Programme.
The project's objectives are to
1.Draw up the programme.
2.Promote its application in the varioius countries involved in th programme.
3.Train teachers as well as Guidance Counsellors in its applications.
The basic rationale for the project lies in the project premise that the European Union is already a reality and that the future working and professional lives of ordinary citizens are likely to extend beyond their own countries of birth.This project seeks to develop- within a single trans-european coherent framework- an awareness in pupils of their citizenship of the Union whilst ensuring that they are prepared to meet the challenges and take advantage of the possibilities which this presents.
