Short description:
Connextions is a national government service designed to end the fragmentation of counselling services for 13 to 19 year olds. It aims to give all young people the best start in life, helping them to become rounded adults who are commited to learning and development.

The Toolkit is to assist schools implement student guidance within a formal framework. The schools co-ordinate the overall management of the programme through a designated senior member of staff serving as the Connextions manager and with teachers from different subject disciplines forming the student guidance support team.

The toolkit -a high quality document-providing detailed proceedures to be followed,including time tables and reporting proceedures and is divided into 3 sections; The Connections manager,Participants role and activities and processes; It is a document that is available to every school..
