Since the school year 1997/1998 he works as students counsellor in the Secondary and Professional School IES San Isidro in Azuqueca de Henares, Guadalajara.
Since the school year 2003/04 is working as consultant on teacher training and educational innovation in the Provincial Education Administration of Guadalajara (Castilla-La Mancha).
His research on individual and group counselling and guidance, psychopedagogical evaluation, learning strategies, etc. has been published in various articles and books.
He has led numerous courses and seminars on these topics.
