Project Abstract
* To promote the development and the integration of the key competences in vocational training (initial and continuing), in order to contribute to the acquisition of qualifications and personal competences, to improve youngsters' and workers' professional and trans-national mobility, and to meet the skill needs of enterprises, namely SMEs.

* Promoting the professional and geographical mobility in an European context
Project Specific Goals
* Identifying the ideal key competences for the new professional profiles (level III) of the 21st Century
* Verifying what competences exist and are produced by the different education/training systems and sub-systems of the several partners and which of those competences are the key for mobility
* Knowing the structures, ways of organization and achievement of teaching/training processes in the different partners for this level of qualification
* Knowing the perspectives and representations of the different players, either of the processes or of the different interveners involved (teachers/trainers, students/trainees, entrepreneurs/employers)
* Building a portfolio of key competences common to the 4 countries of the partnership, based on the national risings/conclusions achieved by the different partners
* Designing of models/strategies for the development of key competences which support the mobility in the present and of those which will be needed in the future and which are common to the different countries
* Building tools, methodologies, practices both pedagogical and formative potentialising development and management of the key competences identified at the 1st and 2nd phases
* Testing the tools produced at the previous phase
* Validating, acknowledging and accrediting the competences by the social partners, in a perspective of mobility
* Evaluating and certifying the processes and the products achieved in the partnership
* Disseminating the results
* Incorporating the products resulting from this pilot-project in the systems and structures of education /vocational training, initial and continuing. .
